friEdTech is committed to creating and maintaining a workplace environment where all employees and job applicants are treated with dignity and respect. Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all employment decisions, including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, compensation, benefits, transfers, layoffs, and terminations, are based on merit, qualifications, performance, and abilities. friEdTech is dedicated to providing a work environment free from discrimination and harassment, where every employee is valued and respected.
Scope:
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, temporary workers, and other personnel working at friEdTech. It covers all aspects of employment, including job advertisement, recruitment, hiring, working conditions, wages and benefits, promotion policies, training, disciplinary actions, and termination.
Procedures:
- Recruitment and Hiring: Job postings will clearly state that friEdTech is an equal opportunity employer. All job candidates will be considered based on their qualifications, experience, performance, and abilities.
- Training and Promotion: Employees will be provided with opportunities for training and advancement based on their performance and skills. Decisions regarding promotions will be made without regard to any protected characteristic.
- Workplace Conduct: friEdTech prohibits any form of discrimination or harassment in the workplace. Any complaints of discrimination or harassment will be promptly investigated and appropriately addressed. Report infractions directly to the CEO or any member of the Leadership Team.
- Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities and for religious practices, to the extent required by law.
- Complaint Procedure: Employees who believe they have been subjected to discrimination or harassment are encouraged to report these incidents to the CEO, or any member of the Leadership Team. friEdTech will investigate all complaints thoroughly and confidentially.
Enforcement:
Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. friEdTech will also take appropriate corrective action to remedy any discrimination or harassment that has occurred.
